![]() ![]() I no longer have chrome so I don’t know what to do. Saying “booting from usb device…” If I click the mmc drive, it also freezes. As a result, the old partition(s) will remain in use.you should reboot now before making further changes.” I turned the chromebook off and back on, ctrl+l, the seaBIOS screen popped up, gave me the option between usb or mmc drive, after selecting the usb drive, it just freezes. I’m wanting to use the ssd as the primary drive so this made sense to switch? An error popped up after clicking install (didn’t install yet) that said, “partitions 1, 3 on /dev/sda have been written, but we have been unable to inform the kernel of the change, probably because it/they are in use. So I changed the “device for boot loaded installer” from the internal drive to the ssd. ![]() I followed the video’s instructions 3:00 (which wiped chrome os off laptop), but after I restarted, I ended up back as if I hadn’t installed it yet. For this part, I was following the second video listed. After a lot of trial and error, I got the linux to pull up. I basically followed along with a yt video to dual boot chrome and linux (I’ll link it below.) I don’t really care if chrome is on there, but until the linux is working, it was nice to still have a useable computer. I made a live linux mint bootable drive, using an ssd. ![]()
